Invoicing Information - FAQs

A: We currently accept payment by cheque, money order or credit card. We do not accept payment by BPAY, PayPal, Tele-banking or Post-Bill Pay to pay invoices.

Please be advised we do not accept American Express, UnionPay, or Discover.

Please note that due to changes in the New Zealand banking system, we can no longer accept cheques as a payment method after 21st May 2021

  2. Can I use my Visa Debit Card and Mastercard Debit Card to make payments?

A: Yes. However, if you are using a Visa or Mastercard Debit Card to make payments on a collection purchased with our Subscription Plan, please be aware that issues in a collection are shipped to you at regular intervals as advertised.

*This could cause an overdraft on some accounts. To avoid this, please make arrangements to avoid any overdrafts or please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of assistance. We’re sorry, but we cannot be responsible for any overdraft charges should this occur.

  3. When is my credit card debited?

A: Your credit card is not debited until your order is ready to be dispatched from our warehouse. When paying in instalments (available only for select items), subsequent instalments will be debited to your credit card monthly until payments are complete. We accept VISA or MasterCard only for payments of your online order.

  4. How does the Instalment Plan option work?

A: Instalments are the affordable way to shop because they spread the total cost of an item over several months. When instalments are available, the number of instalments and price per instalments will appear on the item detail page. (Note: Not all items are available for instalment payments.)

Your instalments are debited monthly directly to the credit card that was authorised at checkout. We do not charge interest on instalment plans. Your first instalment will be debited when your order is ready to be dispatched from our warehouse.

For example, if you purchase an item that costs $199.95 through the Instalment Plan, you then have the option to pay for that item in five separate instalments of $39.99 each.* Your instalments are debited monthly, directly to the credit card that was authorised at checkout. Your item will be shipped to you once your first instalment is paid.

Customers please be aware, when paying for instalments only the first instalment can be done via Paypal. Subsequent instalments are not automatic - Customers will receive a Bradford Exchange invoice via mail with your next required instalment payment and these unfortunately cannot be finalised through PayPal, only through VISA, MASTERCARD, money order and cheque. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

  5. How does the Instalment Plan option work for collections ordered by subscription?

A: Instalments are the easy, risk-free and affordable way to purchase a collection. Your instalments are debited monthly, directly to the credit card you authorised at checkout. We do not charge interest on instalment plans. Your first instalment will be debited when your first item is ready to be dispatched from our warehouse, and subsequent first instalments will be debited each time a new issue in your subscription plan is ready to be dispatched to you.
